This module allows you to easily keep your custom packages up to date based on a set of master package repository directories. The module only actually does work on the JET server, not on the client itself.

After adding the module to the JET server, add the module to an appropriate template:
# make_template -f -T <client> <client> customupdate
Then edit the template and set your preferred locations for packages in the customupdate_package_dirs variable and then when you do a
# make_client -f <client>
any custom packages referred to in the client template will automatically be checked against versions in the defined directories and copied/updated as appropriate.
