&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;This module allows you to easily keep your custom packages up to date based on a set of master package repository directories. The module only actually does work on the JET server, not on the client itself.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After adding the module to the JET server, add the module to an appropriate template:&lt;br /&gt;
 # make_template -f -T &amp;amp;lt;client&amp;amp;gt; &amp;amp;lt;client&amp;amp;gt; customupdate&lt;br /&gt;
Then edit the template and set your preferred locations for packages in the customupdate_package_dirs variable and then when you do a&lt;br /&gt;
 # make_client -f &amp;amp;lt;client&amp;amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
any custom packages referred to in the client template will automatically be checked against versions in the defined directories and copied/updated as appropriate.&lt;br /&gt;
